I am the administrator of this Wiki, but don't blame me if you hate it. I never have problems with taking responsibility, but I can't take criticism. ;-)

- If you leave a phonemail message, please make sure it contains your name, telephone number, and some times that you can be reached.
- My office hours are fluid. I'm in most days for much of the time, but I hesitate to give firm hours since meetings and off-campus events can be scheduled at unpredictable times. If you drop by and I'm not in, leave a message tacked to the door and I'll get back to you as soon as I get it. Many students have cell phones, and if you don't mind my calling, leave that number. If you want to make a firm appointment, just let me know after a class and we'll write it in stone.
- I try to foster collaboration in my courses because it is such an important skill in life. I use online tools like this wiki as a means toward that end. You can find a general introductory page to my online devices at http://www.profbayer.net.
- Personal information? I have been a member of the faculty at Canisius since 1970. My main area of expertise is school psychology, which is a minor in the department. I teach a variety of courses and am currently responsible for supervising practica and teaching several sections of Introductory Psychology.
- My wife and I are the parents of three, all of whom have been lucky enough to stay in Buffalo to raise their families. We have six grandchildren.
